Creating a Mindfulness Practice

Being mindful has been all the rage in the last couple of years, but what does it mean? Do a quick google search on the term “mindfulness” and you will receive the following definition: the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something. a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.
